3 Bedroom, 2 1/2 Bathroom Lakeside Chautauqua Cottage

This stunning Lakeside Chautauqua cottage is located at 618 Cherry Ave, on a quiet, dead-end street, right around the corner from the pool. This is a brand new cottage for 2022 featuring the finest amenities and professional decorating with locally sourced artwork.  Begin and end your day relaxing on either the front porch or the relaxing, screened-in back porch.

This two-story cottage has three bedrooms and 2 1/bathrooms, and it can accommodate 10-12 people. You will love the light and airy design while the children will fall in love with the built-in bunk beds.

All three bedrooms are located on the second floor; Bedrooms 2 & 3 share a bath:

  • Bedroom 1 (Master with private shower): King, twin trundle bed
  • Bedroom 2: Queen, twin built-in bunk beds (Size is XL twins)
  • Bedroom 3: Two fulls, twin built-in bunk beds (Standard size twins)
  • Shared bath: shower & tub

Please bring your sheets, bath towels, and beach towels, as linens are not provided. No smoking or pets (no exceptions!).

• The use of 4 adult bikes and 2 kid bikes (no training wheels)

WEEKLY RATE (excludes linens)

$4,000 plus tax and cleaning fee

Reservations and Payments

All reservations require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be due 45 days prior to arrival. Reservations made within 30 days of arrival will require full payment at the time of booking.

About the Lakeside Chautaqua Community

Lakeside Chautauqua is a gated community during its summer season (Memorial Day weekend-Labor Day weekend) and provides a plethora of daily programming to nurture the mind, body, and spirit of visitors of every age. Lakeside Chautauqua is a step back in time to a place where values, traditions, and family remain the focus.

The community includes seminars, downtown shopping, restaurants, movie theatre, parks, beach area, splash water pad for kids, swimming pool, sailing, paddleboards, playgrounds, basketball, tennis (clay and hardcourt), mini-golf, shuffleboard, art classes, worship services, picnics, a variety of exhibits and art shows, ice cream, coffee shop and nightly entertainment. There truly is something for all ages. Bicycles, golf carts, and walking (especially a stroll down Ohio’s Most Beautiful Mile along the Lakefront) are the main modes of transportation at Lakeside.

PLEASE NOTE: When staying in Lakeside during its summer season, generally Memorial Day through Labor Day, all guests ages 5 and up will be required to purchase daily or weekly passes. Cancellation Policy

We have a strict cancellation policy due to the demand of this rental. Guests will only receive a full refund if their reservation is canceled in writing at least 90 days prior to their reservation.

If a reservation is not cancelled, in writing, within 90 days prior to their reservation, the 50% deposit is non-refundable.

For guests who need to cancel we will make every attempt to re-book their dates. If their dates are rebooked successfully we will issue a refund minus a 20% cancellation fee. Any payment processing fees will be deducted from the total.

Security Deposit

Although rare, accidental damage from guests can happen — we understand that this is usually unintentional. This is why all of our bookings require a $400 security deposit. After your reservation period, your cottage will be inspected and the security deposit will either be returned if no damages have occurred or kept (damages could included stained / damaged furniture, leaving rental property in a state that requires extra cleaning, missing kitchen items, etc).
